The Office of Emergency Management (OEM) prepare and maintains The George Washington University's Incident Manual.
The Manual defines:
- Incident Teams
- University operating status parameters;
- Incident priorities and performance expectations;
- Shelter-in-place and evacuation guidelines; and
- Local contingency and continuity planning requirements.
OEM provides support to all University leaders in the development and maintenance of their local plans.
The Incident Manual is a living document that continues to evolve as the University and its operational environment change.
