GW will open and operate on a normal schedule on Friday, March 1

[Updated: Feb 28, 10:30 p.m.] All of George Washington University’s campuses and education centers will be open and operating on a normal schedule on Friday, March 1.

This includes all offices and classes on the Foggy Bottom, Mount Vernon, and Virginia Science and Technology campuses; the Biostatistics Center and the Alexandria and Arlington Education Centers.

As a reminder to our campus community, especially our new community members:

The university's operating status is evaluated on a daily basis. If there is a need to alter the university's operating status because of adverse weather, university officials will do their best to make decisions by 5 a.m. for morning operations and/or classes or by 4 p.m. for evening operations and/or classes.

If the university changes its operating status, information will be communicated through the following ways:
