PROGRAM LAUNCHED TO CONTRIBUTE TO RESCUE EFFORTS

Message to the GW Community:

In the wake of the tragic events in New York City and Washington, DC, and Pennsylvania the Student Association has partnered with Aramark to make it easy for the GW Community to contribute to the search and rescue efforts.

As of Tuesday, September 18, Provisions Market (located in the ground floor of the Marvin Center) will allow students to donate meal points to the Salvation Army. Simply tell the cashier that you wish to donate, and a simple swipe of your card will send much needed funds that will be used to buy non-perishable food items, bandages, and other supplies needed in the clean-up and rescue zones.

In addition, if GW faculty, staff and students want to make monetary contributions, please look for the Red Cross bins located in the Marvin Center Student Association office and in the Residence Halls. These funds will go directly to the Red Cross for clean-up and rescue efforts.

For more information, contact the Student Association office at (202) 994-7100.
