On Sunday, April 12, 2026, the Cherry Blossom 10-Miler will take place in the District. The race will begin at the Washington Monument grounds and traverse East Potomac Park, Ohio Dr. SW, Independence Ave. NW, Arlington Memorial Bridge, and portions of Rock Creek Parkway. This event may impact the Foggy Bottom campus with increased pedestrians, vehicular traffic, and road closures. The GW Vex will operate on a regular schedule.
