April 6, 2025 - Cherry Blossom 10-Miler

On Sunday, April 6, 2025, the Cherry Blossom 10-Miler will take place around the National Mall. The race will begin at the Washington Monument grounds and continue through East Potomac Park, Hains Point, Arlington Memorial Bridge, and Rock Creek Parkway. This event may impact the Foggy Bottom Campus with increased pedestrian, vehicular traffic, and road closures. The university does not anticipate any changes to its operations. The Mount Vernon Campus Express (VEX) will operate on a regular schedule with as minimal delays as possible. Please plan accordingly for potential increased traffic and delays.

The National Park Service (NPS) and D.C. Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) report there will be numerous impacts to vehicular traffic on Sunday, April 6, 2025. An active list of road closures and parking restrictions can be found on the event website, along with further information about vehicle and pedestrian access to the affected areas.
