UPDATE: The issue has been identified and gas, heat, and hot water have been restored to Rome Hall, Philips Hall, and Smith Hall. Repairs are tentatively scheduled for the week of May 30th.
GW Environmental Health & Safety was informed of an odor near Phillips Hall on the afternoon of Wednesday, May 25th, 2022. To address the issue, GW Facilities will shut off gas to Rome Hall, Phillips Hall, and Smith Hall. Until the necessary repairs are completed, there will be no access to heat or hot water in the aforementioned buildings. Repairs are expected to be completed sometime tomorrow morning, Thursday, May 26th, 2022.
