March For Life 2020 - Transportation Closures

On Friday, January 24th, 2020, the March for Life Expo will take place in and around the Renaissance Washington DC hotel and the Capital Area.

The Smithsonian Metrorail Station will be closed on Friday, January 24, 2020 due to the March For Life event from 5:00AM to early afternoon. During this time, all Orange, Blue and Silver line trains will pass through Smithsonian Station without stopping. Additional Street closures will include:

* 6am – noon

         F Street from 6th Street, NW to 7th Street, NW

* 10am – noon

          7th Street from F Street to Jefferson Drive, SW

* 10am – 3pm

         Constitution Avenue from 12th Street, NW to Pennsylvania Avenue, NW

         4th Street from Independence Avenue, SW to Pennsylvania Avenue, NW

* Noon – 3pm

         3rd Street from Independence Avenue, SW to Pennsylvania Avenue, NW

         Constitution Avenue from 3rd Street, NW to 2nd Street, NE

All street closures and listed times are subject to change based upon prevailing or unexpected conditions.

The public should expect parking restrictions along the street and should be guided by the posted emergency no parking signage. All vehicles that are parked in violation of the emergency no parking signs will be ticketed and towed.
