The Capital Pride Alliance (CPA) will be hosting a walk and rally, please be aware of road closures and detours that may affect the downtown area between Dupont Circle and Freedom Plaza from noon and 5 p.m.
On Saturday, June 12, in place of the regularly held Capital Pride Parade, the CPA will hold a Pride Walk & Rally, that will be followed by the first Pridemobile Parade.
Attendees will gather at Dupont Circle to prepare to walk, run, bike, rollerblade, stroll, etc. to Freedom Plaza. Participants will depart and head down P ST NW to Logan Circle. From Logan Circle we will head south on 13th ST and finish at Freedom Plaza for the Pride Rally. No motor vehicles will be permitted.
There will be a short rally with music at Freedom Plaza as we prepare to kick-off the Pridemobile Parade at 3:00 pm.
