On Thursday, February 6, 2025, all university campuses and centers will be open. Important guidance for classes and work schedules follows below. This applies to the Foggy Bottom, Mount Vernon, and Virginia Science and Technology campuses; the Biostatistics Center; and the Alexandria and Arlington education centers.
Classes
Faculty should proceed with scheduled classes normally or notify students of alternate arrangements as soon as possible. Students with questions should contact their faculty directly.
Work Schedules
Essential on-site staff should report to work in person as scheduled. Contact your supervisor directly with any questions or concerns.
Staff typically scheduled to work in person on Thursdays should report to work or contact your supervisor directly with any questions or concerns.
Staff typically scheduled to telework on Thursdays may telework as normal.
Clinical Enterprise
Those with clinical responsibilities should follow the guidance of your clinical coordinator or designated supervisor.
The GW Medical Faculty Associates and GW Hospital will be open and operating on a normal schedule.
Campus Activities
In-person activities and events may be adjusted on a case-by-case basis. Check with the event organizer for updates.
