On Saturday, August 29, 2026, the First Night x Org Fair will be held as part of GW’s Weeks of Welcome programming. The event brings together students to connect with more than 350 student organizations and participate in activities, entertainment, and campus engagement opportunities. The event will take place on University Yard, Kogan Plaza, and H Street. As a result, road closures and increased pedestrian activity are expected on the Foggy Bottom campus.
Road Closures and Transportation Impacts
The following road closures will be in effect on Aug. 29, from 8 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.:
- H Street NW between 20th Street NW and 22nd Street NW
- 21st Street NW between G Street NW and I Street NW
