All GW campuses and centers will be open on Saturday, Feb. 17, with instructional and administrative continuity.
This operating status indicates the following:
- Classes will continue, and faculty are required to inform students of relevant instructional continuity plans if needed (e.g., if an in-person class will instead be held virtually).
- Essential On-Site Staff must report to their workplace on time as directed by their supervisor.
- In-Person and Hybrid Staff should use their best judgment if adverse weather creates extreme hazards if traveling to or from the workplace. If scheduled to work, In-Person and Hybrid Staff may choose to report to work as normal; report to work virtually if approved by their supervisor and a telework agreement is in place; or take annual leave.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for all GW campuses and centers from 11 p.m. tonight through 7 a.m. Saturday morning.
The university will continue to monitor winter weather and provide updates regarding any important impacts on our campuses.
