Campus Advisory - Update #1
DC Water has identified and is working to repair two water main breaks on 22nd Street that are contributing to several building water outages (listed below). DC Water estimates repairs will be complete and water service restored by 9 p.m.
Buildings without water:
- Funger Hall
- Duques Hall
- Madison Hall
- Gelman Library
- 601-621 22nd St. Townhouses
- 2145 G Street
At this time, all buildings remain open and activities, including classes, are continuing as scheduled.
Individuals in impacted buildings do not have access to running water and should not use restrooms in affected buildings.
Alternative facilities are available:
- Restrooms and drinking water: Lerner Health and Wellness Center, University Student Center (USC), and Science and Engineering Hall (SEH)
- Showers: Lerner Health and Wellness Center
- Dining services: District House, Shenkman Hall, and Thurston Hall
Madison residents will receive additional information from CLRE staff.
