Mixed precipitation is expected and may affect the Foggy Bottom and Mount Vernon campuses, as well as the Virginia Science and Technology Campus. The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Saturday, January 6,from 7AM until 7PM in Orange, Culpeper, Spotsylvania and Southern Fauquier Counties; total snow accumulations of up to two inches and ice accumulations between one to two-tenths of an inch are expected.
The university does not anticipate any changes to its operations. GW Emergency Management will continue to monitor the weather forecast for GW’s campuses and post updates on Campus Advisories as necessary.
