Due to winter weather, all GW physical campuses and centers are closed on Jan. 7, with staff teleworking or in person and remote classes at faculty discretion.

Due to winter weather, all university campuses and centers are closed, with adjustments to classes and work schedules, on Monday, Jan. 6.

January 4, 2025 – Foggy Bottom Data Center

The Foggy Bottom data center, which includes the main network distribution center, will be migrated to a new network core during a routine test on January 4th.

January 6 - 9, 2025 – D.C. Special Events and Potential for Winter Weather

The Certification of Electoral Votes, President Carter’s State Funeral, and possible winter weather for the week of January 6th.

December 20-30, 2024 – Blue, Silver, and Orange Line Station Closures

Beginning on Friday, December 20, through Monday, December 30, 2024, WMATA will conduct maintenance on the Blue, Silver, and Orange lines, resulting in station closures. Metro
