University Statement Regarding Non-Specific Threats to Washington, DC

The George Washington University is aware of the non-specific threats allegedly made by ISIS against Washington, D.C. and other western countries. The authenticity of the video has not been verified. According to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) and federal partners, there are no credible threats to the Washington, D.C. and other western cities and countries.

The barricade situation at 19th and K Streets has been resolved.

Some road closures remain but are reopening.

Foggy Bottom Metro Station

METRO reports that the Foggy Bottom Metro Station is closed at this time due to utility work.  Customers should use Farragut West station until further notice.
